Steven Wayne Martin, 64, of Shelton, Wash., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Oct. 21, 2021, after a long illness.
He is survived by his children, Joshua Martin, Sarah Martin and Casey Lawin; and many grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry Martin, Linda Kaplan, Janet Chester, Chris Guyer, Kitty Nash, Robin Eaton, John Martin, Ken Martin, Tom Thompson and Jeff Thompson; a stepdaughter, Heather Blair; many nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend, Leroy Wallner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Walter Thompson and Willard Martin; two sisters, Carol Greenwood and Nancy Shields; and two brothers, Phillip Martin and David Thompson.
Steve will have his remains scattered with his parents in Missouri, per his wishes.
Rest in peace. You are leaving many broken hearts but we all know you are in heaven with wings.
