Steven Lee Kurth, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away suddenly, Jan. 8, 2019, at his home. There will be no services. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Steve was born Aug. 20, 1959, to Albert and Shirley (Klimes) Kurth in Maquoketa, Iowa. Steve graduated in 1978 from College Community School District, where he later worked.
Steve loved sports, especially the Prairie Hawks and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Survivors are his mother, Shirley Kurth; siblings, Susan (Dale) Hanson, Ron (Anita) Kurth, Cindy (Doug) Braun, Cliff (Connie) Kurth, Marvin (Sandy) Kurth, Lori (Daryl) Scar, Mark (Mary) Kurth, Connie Kurth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father Albert.
