Steven Klindt, 54, of Hiawatha, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Steven was born Aug. 29, 1966, the oldest son of John and Twilla (Pedersen) Klindt in Osage, Iowa. He loved to complete puzzles and color. He also loved exercising on his bike, living and interacting with his friends at REM. He always looked forward to taking day trips out to eat with his family.
Left to cherish his memories is his mother, Twilla Meyer; stepfather, Harold Meyer; brother, Kevin (Kristal) Klindt; sisters, Michelle (Shawn) Selch and Christine Hansen; stepsisters, Jolyn (Al) Morgan and Deb Meyer; stepbrother, David (Cathy) Meyer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, John Hammond; and grandparents.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
