Steven "Butch" Leroy Squires, 62, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a courageous battle with cancer.
Steve will always be remembered for his appreciation of the simpler things in life. Especially his love for horses, coffee, reading and carrying on a good conversation. He was most notable for his deep booming voice and his willingness to help anyone in need.
A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Union Church and Cemetery, Aurora.
