STEPHEN FOX EIKELBARNER
Plano, Texas
Stephen Fox Eikelbarner of Plano, Texas, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Feb. 10, 2022, at the age of 78.
He was born on June 7, 1943, to James Clifford Eikelbarner and Dorothy Grace (Fox) Eikelbarner in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Stephen attended Marshalltown Junior College before proudly serving in the United States Army. He married Sandy McDowell on May 27, 1966, in Cedar Rapids. Stephen was a self-made businessman. He was a loving husband of 55 years, a father, grandfather and friend. Stephen will be missed dearly by those he knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Eikelbarner of Plano, Texas; daughter, Kara Bell and fiancee, Marty Collins of Richardson, Texas; sons, David Eikelbarner and wife, Stephanie, of Keller, Texas, and Michael Eikelbarner; grandchildren, Mandy Wierzbicki, Chase Eikelbarner, Michaela Eikelbarner, Bethany Bell, Meredith Eikelbarner, Piper Bell, Morganne Eikelbarner and Ashlyn Eikelbarner; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.
