Steil, Sara
Sara Steil, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died Dec. 3, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Church of the King, Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; sons, Bob Weis, Jim Weis, Roger Steil Jr. and Clayton Steil; daughters, Aggie Williams, Kathy Schumacher, Martha Kousheh and Sue Herbst; brother, Leslie Sprague; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Sara was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Leslie and Agnes (Montine) Sprague. She married Roger Steil on Sept. 10, 1969, in DeKalb, Ill. Sara was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Weis; and sisters, Margaret, Francis and Evelyn.
