Steichen, Maryan Rose 'Grandma'
Maryan Rose Steichen “Grandma,” 86, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Ludmila's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, where there will be a 3 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. parish vigil.
