Steggall, Joseph Lyle
Joseph Lyle Steggall, 74, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at his home. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Linwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Local survivors include half brothers, Thomas (Sandra) Dupler of Cedar Rapids and Roger (Caryle) Steggall of Cedar Rapids; a half sister, Margaret Dumas of Cedar Rapids; an aunt, Pat Hanson of Cedar Rapids; and a cousin, Larry (Cheryle) Steggall of Cedar Rapids, who became a very close friend, confidant and interpreter in the middle years.
Joseph was born Jan. 5, 1936, the son of Joseph E. and Vera A. (Ellison) Steggall, in Cedar Rapids. Joseph worked at Standard Blue Print and Crest Microfilm.
