Steger, Alice B.
Alice B. Steger, 97, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 16, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Teahen Funeral Home. Arthur Betz will officiate. Inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Alice is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her husband Brooke, her parents, two sisters, and four brothers preceded her in death.
Alice was born August 26, 1912 in White Lake, South Dakota, the daughter of Jacob and Theresa (Wannamaker) Berscheid. She married Brooke Steger on September 18, 1976 in Dallas, Texas.
Alice worked for Celotex Corporation as a manager for 33 years, retiring in 1977.
Alice enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and travel.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
