Steffen, Earl John
Earl John Steffen, 64, of Manchester, died at his residence on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Rite of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, with military rites following the service. Deacon Dave Loecke will officiate. Private Family Inurnment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, with Scripture service at 3 p.m. Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include his mother, Esther Steffen of Edgewood; four siblings, Tom (Maggi) Steffen of Manchester, Joyce Steffen (friend Bonnie Pisarik) of Cedar Rapids, Donna (Steve) Brady of Edgewood, and Julie (Sam) Offerman of Charles City; and several nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Arthur F. Steffen; and his sister, Elaine Parker.
