Stark, Delphine 'Del'
Delphine “Del” Stark, 86, of Chicago, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, in Chicago. Following Chicago services, a graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the Stark Settlement/St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, rural Cedar Rapids.
Surviving Del are her daughter, Ann Marie (Steve Hughes), and their children, Alex, Katie and Cristina; special brother-in-law, Theodore (Carol) Stark of Atkins; sister-in-law, Emma Stark Ard of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Leona and Diane; a brother, Richard; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo; a brother, Jack; four brothers-in-law, Arnold, Ralph, Herbert and Henry Stark; and four sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Mary, Edna and Henrietta.
Del volunteered for many organizations, including 13 years with Midwest Hospice and Care Center and Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon, is in charge of local arrangements.
