STANLEY JORDAN
Toddville
Stanley Jordan, 47, of Toddville, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at his home. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, Free Methodist Church, Toddville, conducted by the Rev. Mark Lofquist. The family will greet friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, and one hour before the service Monday at the church. Burial: Dunkard

Survivors include his wife, Molly; mother, Norma Jordan; sons, Matthew (Amanda) Jordan of Fort Drum, N.Y., and Andrew Jordan of Toddville; sister, Laurie Jordan of Cedar Rapids; mother-in-law, Carleta Herzberger; and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Eugene Jordan; father-in-law, Keith Herzberger; sister, Julie Jordan; and sister-in-law, Michele Herzberger.
Stanley was born Nov. 1, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wesley and Norma (Campbell) Jordan. He was a 1985 graduate of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and attended Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids. Stan earned his ASE Master Technician certification. He married Molly Herzberger on Nov. 5, 1988, at the Free Methodist Church in Toddville. Stanley was an auto mechanic working with Hubbell's Auto Repair in Marion. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Toddville.
Stan enjoyed playing the guitar and working around his home. He was a handyman who took pride in his yard. He volunteered in many activities, including the Alburnett Band Carnival and Worship Team. Stanley was a soft-spoken, patient and compassionate man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, son and friend. Stanley was proud of his sons, a great role model and a man of faith.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to PCI Oncology, the Unity- Point Hospice team, Free Methodist Church of Toddville and Wilkins School family.
