Stamper, W. Jean
W. Jean Stamper, 68, of Mechanicsville, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at Silver Crest of Anamosa. Jean's funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at Morgan Funeral Choices, Mount Vernon, by Celebrant Mary Morgan. The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery.
Surviving Jean are her husband, Ray of Mechanicsville; four daughters, Becky (David) McCullough of Glenburn, Maine, Donna Feddersen of Mechanicsville, Sileena (George) Hendley of Wyoming and Carol Hayes of Mechanicsville; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and special family friends, Laura Caes and Teresa Stickley.
The family wants to thank Above and Beyond Hospice and Silver Crest of Anamosa for the wonderful care given to Jean and Ray and support provided to their family.
A memorial fund in Jean's honor has been established.
