I seldom ask for miracles, but today one would do. To have you here beside with your arms around me too. A million times I've missed you, a million times I've cried; if love alone could've saved you, you never would've died.
In life I loved you deeply, in death I love you still; and in my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you for part of me went with you the day God called you home to stay. I know you are that cowboy you dreamed about on earth.
