Stafford, Dolan Michael
Dolan Michael Stafford was born Monday, April 25, 2011, at Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Chase and Aubrey (Dolan) Stafford. Pastor Robert Hoefler of St. Francis of Assisi Parish of West Des Moines baptized him on April 26, 2011, and Kelly and Ben Lange were his Godparents.
Even though his time on earth was short, Dolan will be remembered for his dark curly Dolan hair, his mom's extremely long fingers, and his dad's complexion. Brought into this life with love, he lovingly touched many lives and that love will continue in the hearts of those who will greatly miss him.
Dolan entered into his eternal life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from complications of premature birth at Blank Children Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
Survivors include his parents, Chase and Aubrey Stafford of West Des Moines; grandparents, Mike and Susie Stafford and Bill and Kay Dolan; great-grandparents, Everett and Geri Stafford, Dee Tasler and Anna Mae Dolan; aunts and uncles, Amber and Tim Bogardus, Cody and Kari Stafford, Kelly and Ben Lange, Emily and Luke Korbmacher and Cannon Dolan; and 11 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Judy Stafford.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Blank Children Methodist Hospital for their love, gentle touch, and compassion given to Dolan and his family.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Blank Children Methodist Hospital.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 tonight at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Masonville, Iowa, with the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Masonville.
