Stade, Brent Lee
Brent Lee Stade, 45, of Robins, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Celebration of Life: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Ascension Lutheran Church in Marion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Erna; two daughters, Michelle Stade and Shelby (John) Rohan; three grandchildren; his mother, JoAnn Bevauns; a sister, Gina Brown; nephew, Derin (Jessica) Vaverka; and a niece, Kayla Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Earl Brown.
Brent was born April 12, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Junior “Butch” Stade and JoAnn (Hahn) Bevauns. He graduated from Marion High School in 1983, then attended the American Institute of Technology in Omaha, Neb. On May 4, 2002, Brent was united in marriage to Erna Frederick.
Brent enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, the Kansas City Chiefs and Iowa Hawkeyes.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Brent's memory.
