Stacie Marie Rasmussen, 40, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at her home in North Liberty.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Branch. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the West Branch Cemetery. Stacie was born March 14, 1982, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Marilyn (Ellis) Rasmussen. She was a graduate of West Branch High School in 2000 and went on to earn her degree in Business Administration. She began her career at Rockwell Collins before moving on to her career and passion in healthcare, working in infusion, labs and hospice.
Stacie was born loving animals, caring for many cats and dogs as she grew up. Finally she had her much loved Jack Russell terrier, Quiggley, who filled her life with joy every day. Stacie was fun-loving, full of life and will be missed by her family and many cherished friends.
She is survived by her parents, Marilyn Rasmussen of West Branch and Richard Rasmussen of Coralville; her fiancé, Sharif Youssef of Iowa City; brothers, Eric (Olya) of Hartford, Conn., and Dan (Paula) of Iowa City; and a nephew. Raynor. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, El and Marge Rasmussen and Robert and Marie Ellis.
