Squires, Iva Dell
Iva Dell Squires, 97, of Center Point, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at the East Towne Care Center, Independence. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Center Point, by the Rev. Mike Ellson. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: Alice Cemetery, rural Center Point.
Survivors include sisters-in-law, Darlene (Dave) Craig of Center Point and Gladys Jones of Marion; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Venora Jones; husband, Gilbert Squires; and a son, Larry L. Squires.
Iva was born on Aug. 28, 1915, in Center Point, Iowa, daughter of Roy and Venora (Bardoner) Jones.
