Spivey, Theodore 'Ted'
Theodore “Ted” Spivey, 93, of Tiffin, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
Ted's family includes his daughter, Adelia “Dee-Dee” Madden (Randy) of Tiffin; granddaughter, Mary Kern (Shea Nangle) of Champaign, Ill.; former son-in-law, Alan Kern of Tiffin; and sisters, Helen Pierce and Evelyn Price of Iowa City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; sons, Russel and Tom; parents; seven sisters and a brother.
Memorial contributions in Ted's name may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
