Janet Elaine Speer, 75, of Elkader, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Leonard Funeral Home of Elkader is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the First Congregational Church in Elkader, with the Rev. Jerry Chase officiating. Private Family inurnment at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
