Soder, Dean
Dean Soder, 82, of Coralville, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at his home. A memorial service will be held at a future date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Leslie Dean Soder was born Dec. 22, 1928, to Victor and Laura (Pearson) Soder in Ceresco, Neb. He was united in marriage to Helen Knueppel on Nov. 27, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Dean worked and retired from the University of Iowa Hospital School as a physical therapist.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; son, Hans (Martha) Soder of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Jill (Mike) Richards of Burbank, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Lars Soder, Augie Soder, Hannah Richards and Charlotte Richards. Dean was preceded in death by his parents.
