Snodgrass, Nancy
CEDAR RAPIDS - Nancy Snodgrass, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in her home. Scattering of Nancy's ashes will be in Florida at a later date. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie; children, James (Debbie) and Vernon (Terri), both of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; four sisters, Diane Franck, Gale Franck, Terry Lown and Lori Franck, all of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Larry Franck, David (Maxine) Franck, Dale (Nancy) Franck and Dennis (Connie) Franck, all of Cedar Rapids; and a brother-in-law, Don Vonous of Rowley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Penny Vonous and Gloria Franck; brothers, Dean (Ruth) Franck, Paul Franck and Calvin Franck; and a sister-in-law, Carol Franck.
Nancy was born March 12, 1944, the daughter of Perry and Louise (Strait) Franck, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On March 26, 1966, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Snodgrass in Cedar Rapids. Nancy attended McKinley High School and worked in food service where her last 10 years were at Mercy Medical Center, retiring in 2008. Nancy enjoyed going to casinos and was very dedicated in caring for her husband.
