Smith, Dorothy Goin
Dorothy Goin Smith, 93, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Dorothy, born March 22, 1920, was the eldest child of Arthur and Cecilia Goin of Peoria, Ill.
Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother and sister. For 44 years, Dorothy and husband Louis Smith were owners of Mason Dry Cleaners.
She was preceded by her husband, Louis Smith; and brother, Archer “Bud” Goin.
Survivors include her sister, Vivian Smith of Peoria, Ill.; daughters, Patricia Hollis of Cedar Rapids and Irma (Dr. Elisha) Greenfield of Chicago; and three grandchildren, Leslie Hollis of Iowa City and Deana (Ben Rodriguez) Greenfield and David Greenfield, both of Chicago.
Private services will be Friday, Dec. 6.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Hospice House of Mercy.
