Smith, Dennis Lee
Dennis Lee Smith, 59, of Vinton, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Service: 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vinton, conducted by Father Ardel Barta. Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his mother, Yvonne; siblings, Mary (Clarence) Bilsland, Keith Smith, Connie (Al) Keller and Tracey (Kevin) Kirk; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Dennis was born July 20, 1954, to Paul and Yvonne Smith. He was an avid outdoorsman, woodworker and loved a good party.
