Sloan, Kenadie Mae
Kenadie Mae Sloan, who was only 5 days old, went to be cradled in God's arms in Heaven on July 19, 2010. At only one pound in size, she was not able to be held here on earth. In her short time here she sure won our hearts and love. She was a feisty little thing, but her body just wasn't able to hold up. Graveside services: 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Walker by Father Paul McManus. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her parents, Kevin and Katie Sloan of North Liberty; grandparents, Kurt Kramer of Center Point, Lori Simon of Vinton and Kayla Sloan of Marion; aunts, Kari (Brody) Knudtson of Independence and Kelsy Kramer of Australia; great-grandparents, Chuck and Karol Smith of Brandon; many aunts, uncles, cousins and innumerable friends; and especially her doggie sister, Zoey, who would have been her playmate.
Kenadie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Sloan; and great-grandparents, Fay and Bernadine Kramer, Valeria Smith, Carrol and Onla Haman and Daryl and Nellie Sloan.
In lieu of flowers, the Kenadie Sloan Memorial Fund has been established c/o CRBT, PO Box 789, Cedar Rapids, IA 52406.
