Sloan, Darlene M.
Darlene M. Sloan, 81, of Independence, formerly of Brandon, died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 25, 2009, at the Buchanan County Health Center, Independence, following a short illness. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. John Sheda officiating. Burial: Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla (Bruce) Graves of Marion and Tammy Denton of Brandon; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
