Slaymaker, Irene A.
Irene A. Slaymaker, 80, of Guernsey, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Smith Funeral Home in Victor, with the Rev. Doug Dauenbaugh officiating. Interment will be in Ohio Cemetery, south of Ladora. Visitation, with the family present, will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Irene is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Slaymaker of Guernsey.
Memorials may be designated to the Guernsey United Methodist Church.
