Slabaugh, Anna Lou
Anna Lou Slabaugh, 81, formerly of Akron, Ohio, and recently a resident of Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, went to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, with her family by her side. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Billows Funeral Home in Fairlawn, Ohio. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
Survivors include her children, David (Sue) Slabaugh, Becky (Ivan) Hoath, Mirian (Lloyd) LeCurex, Judith Slabaugh and Jon (Edith) Slabaugh; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John.
Anna Lou was born August 15, 1929, the daughter of Hiram and Grace (Simpson) Spindell, in Akron, Ohio. She married John Slabaugh on Oct. 2, 1950. He died Nov. 28, 2010. Anna Lou was a member of the Marion Gospel Hall.
