Skinner, Harry A.
Harry A. Skinner, 72, of Baldwin, formerly of Massillon, Iowa, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at his home. A celebration of his life service will be held Tuesday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Massillon Cemetery, Massillon.
Harry was born July 29, 1938, in Clinton, Iowa, to Edward and Inez (Benhart) Skinner. Harry farmed and worked in area factories. In earlier years, he worked for the City of Lowden.
He is survived by his lifelong best friend and companion, Tillie Williams of Baldwin; stepchildren, Trudy (Gayle) Hart of Maquoketa, Paul (Susan) Williams of Anaheim, Calif., and Larry (Kathy) Williams of Baldwin;
a stepson-in-law, Harlan Hintz of Toronto; one brother, John (Mary Lou) Skinner of Lowden; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a stepdaughter, Doris Hintz in 2006.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Jackson County or the Oxford Junction Senior Center.
