Siske, Iris R. Peek
Iris R. Peek Siske, 88, of Marengo, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Rose Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Delbert Rankin officiating. Inurnment will be in Marengo Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be contributed to Hospice Compassus.
Iris is survived by two daughters, Linda Rosalie Guehrn and husband Gary of Quincy, Wash., and Debra Ann Stockman and husband Michael of Oxford, Iowa; five grandchildren, Brett Guehrn (Kelli) of Quincy, Wash., Candice Guehrn of Spokane, Wash., Aaron Guehrn of Spokane, Wash., Christopher Stockman of Des Moines and Suzanne Stockman Coen (Mathew) of Des Moines; four great-grandchildren, Ian and Austin Coen of Des Moines, Makaylah Guehrn of Spokane, Wash., and Hayden Guehrn of Quincy, Wash.; and a sister, Darlene Bral, and a brother, Ervin Walters, both of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lina Walters; her husbands, Oscar Earl Peek and Glenn Siske; two sisters, Lina Bigbee and Baunetta Watson; a brother, Farel Richard in infancy; and a sister, Clarice Nadine in infancy.
