Marvin L. Sims Sr., 66, of 1265 Melrose Ave., Iowa City, died Friday evening, April 2, 2010, in his home from cancer, surrounded by his family. Marvin chose to be cremated. A celebration of his life is being planned for mid-April. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling arrangements.
