Simoens, Hildegarde R.
Hildegarde R. Simoens, 89, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at the Keystone Care Center. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Brian Dellaert officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at St. Michael's Parish Center, with vigil service at 7 p.m. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery.
Hildegarde was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Hartington, Neb., the daughter of Alphonse and Ida (Pickart) Bange. She married Frank Simoens, son of Henry and Erma Simoens, on Nov. 19, 1940. Frank passed away Nov. 20, 1999.
Hildegarde is survived by her daughter, Judy Barton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa Smith and Marcella Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.
Hildegarde was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; sister, Dolly Schulte; and brothers-in-law, Ed Smith, Alec Schulte and Bob Murphy.
Hildegarde will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
