SILAS KALB

Silas Michael Kalb, 6-month-old son of Treyton Kalb and Lacey Mastain of Newhall, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, by Certified Celebrant Dr. Jim Coyle. A visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sisters, Savannah Mastain and Sophia Kalb of Newhall; his grandparents, Ted and Milissa Wright of Cedar Rapids and Walter and Amy Postley of Cedar Rapids; his great-grandparents, Al and Mary McDonald of Iowa City; his great-great-grandmother, Francis Miller of Washington; his aunts and uncles, Lindsay (Darrell) Wiegand of Cedar Rapids, Tim (Trisha) Kalb of Cedar Rapids, Thomas Kalb of San Francisco, Calif., Ashlie Mastain of Cedar Rapids, Bria Postley of Cedar Rapids, Bryson Postley of Cedar Rapids, Matthew Wright of Bedford, Texas, and Kenneth Wright of Beacon, N.Y. Also surviving are several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Silas was preceded in death by his grandfather, Erin Kalb; and grandmother, Betty Jean Parks.
Silas was born Oct. 5, 2015, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
His loving smile will be greatly missed by his family.
