Shotwell, Margaret Alice

Funeral services for Margaret Alice Shotwell, 89, of Tipton, who died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, will be held Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with Janet Shotwell officiating. Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. Online condolences and photos may be shared at . Margaret was born Nov. 27, 1922, in Tipton. She was the daughter of James and Frances Kinyon Garlick. She was a graduate of Tipton High School and worked as a bookkeeper. On Nov. 27, 1938, Margaret was united in marriage to Harold Everett Shotwell in Tipton.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Jim (Dorothy) Shotwell and Don Shotwell, both of Tipton; grandchildren, Mike (Janet) Shotwell and Lori Shotwell; great-grandchild, Reba Shotwell; and sister, Virginia Carlson of Clarence. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold on June 15, 2011; two sisters; and one brother.
