Shirley Ann Ralston, 77, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home by Chaplain Christine Wagner-Hecht. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit at Teahen Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Shirley is survived by her son, Rick and wife Holly Ralston; granddaughter, Jackie and husband Jake Kessell; great-granddaughter, Jamie Kessell; and close friend, Jan Waters.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Gary (2011); son, Robert (1988); parents, Mike and Leona Wahlen Koval; grandparents, Mike and Maria Koval; and brother, Joe Koval.
Shirley was born April 27, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Mike and Leona Wahlen Koval. After her mother's death in 1944, she was raised by her grandparents, Mike and Maria Koval.
