Shirley Jean Miller, 83, of Brooklyn, died March 15, 2014, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Interment: Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested memorials be contributed to the Brooklyn Ambulance Service to pay it forward for all the times the staff helped her when she needed them.
Shirley is survived by her children, George Hauersperger, Ed Miller and Audrey Roberts (Tom), all of Marengo; five grandchildren, Amy Miller and Alyssa Miller, both of Ma-rengo, Kyle Miller (Nicole) of Lisbon, and Matthew Miller and Rachel Miller, both of Marengo; three great-grand-children, Corey, Reed and Layla; and a brother, Don Arnold of Waterloo.
