Shirley J. Lange, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at her home. Services: 11 a.m Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include her husband, Jerald; two daughters, Lynn (Mark) Schliemann of Marengo and Tamara (Gerald) Phipps of Ely; a sister, Judith (Richard) Duncan of Cedar Rapids; and three grandchildren, Tiffany, Zach and Cody.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Shirley was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Monticello, the daughter of Uri and Elda Stahlberg Blanchard. She married Jerald M. Lange on Oct. 23, 1965, in Monticello.
Shirley worked in assembly at Square D for over 37 years, retiring in 2005.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, raising flowers and especially the time spent with her beloved family. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
