Shirley A. Howe, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on her birthday at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, on Jan. 28, 2016.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Howe; daughter, Kathy Murphy of Cedar Rapids; son, Mike (Kerry) Murphy of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Ben and Will Murphy; mother, Adelaide Bildstein of Dyersville; two sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Bildstein; one sister; and one brother.
Shirley was born Jan. 28, 1944, daughter of Lawrence
