Shirley F. Childers, 79, of East Amana, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday May 4, at the East Amana Cemetery, East Amana, with Elder Tony Berger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kloster Funeral Home in care of Shirley, 298 W. Washington St., Marengo, IA 52301. Masks and social distancing will be required at the service.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 62 years, David; three children, Lonny Childers, Lori Ackermann and Lisa Schneekloth; nine grandchildren, Sherrie, Mathew, Joseph, Elizabeth, Kristin, Justin, John, Kali and Jake; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, P.J. Schneekloth.
