Shirley DaMaris "Dee" Schornhorst, 95, of Iowa City, died on April 10, 2024.
Dee is survived by her son Steven and wife Doris of Iowa City, and daughter Joyce Edfors and husband Thomas from Lake Mills, WI. Grandchildren Jennifer Winegarden and husband Mat of Iowa City, Matthew Schornhorst and wife Beth of Marion, Iowa, and Anna White and husband Neil of Iowa City. Great-grandchildren Christopher Winegarden, Mya Winegarden, Isabella Dix, Austin Schornhorst, Elle Schornhorst, Audrey White and Conor White. Her brother and wife, Wendell and Diane Kruse of Germantown, TN, and a niece and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Avonne Fredrickson and her husband Eldo.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A full obituary and condolences available at www.lensingfuneral.com
