Shirley A. (Thomas) Ranshaw, 87, longtime Iowa City resident, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at Briarwood Care Center in Iowa City.
A time of visitation will be held for family and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Private family graveside services will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center or Essence of Life Hospice in Amana. A complete obituary will appear in Saturday’s edition.
