Sheryl Nadine Armstrong Shanahan, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away surrounded by her family Monday, March 10, 2014. No service will be held but a reception will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, 1817 Prairie Chapel Rd., Marion. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, twin daughters, Heidi Armstrong Clemens of Alburnett and Heather Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, Jason Armstrong of Cedar Rapids and Amber Dawn Shanahan of Alburnett; several grandchildren; and a sister, Karen Phelps of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her brother. James Romizer; and her parents, Ruth and Ralph "Bud" Armstrong.
