Sheryl Reid, 72, passed away on Wednesday Dec. 12, 2018. Celebration of Life will be Dec. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at IBEW Local 405, 1211 Wiley Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
She was born April 15, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Jefferson High School and retired from Rockwell Collins after 38 years.
She was married to Verle Reid for 43 years and has three children. She enjoyed camping, kayaking, nature and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a kind, caring, loving person to everyone she met. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Verle Reid; children, JJ Henry (Stacy Beach), Brian (Justine) Henry and Danielle (Paul) Westbrook; brother, Charlie Grimm; sister, Sandra Rawson; and grandchildren Jennifer (Andy) Henry, Javin Henry and Kaitlyn Mendyk.
She is preceded in death by grandson, Cody Henry; sister Sue Williams; and parents Doris and Holland Grimm.
Iowa Cremation is handling arrangments.
