Sherard, Leasiah Ann Marie
Leasiah Ann Marie Sherard, 3 months, infant daughter of Joshua Sherard and Abigail Rife, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 4 p.m. Saturday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, by Deacon Jim Berger. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Also surviving are her grandparents, Monte and Kelly Rife, David and Cathy Sherard and Debbie Sherard; great-grandparents, Gene (Janet-deceased) Stout, Carl and Sherry Duggan and Paul and Betty Graham; a brother, Carter Sherard; aunts and uncles, Aubrey Rife, Chad and Brooke Harmer, and Erik and Lisa Sherard; and cousins, Eliana and Noah.
Leasiah was born Aug. 27, 2009, in Cedar Rapids. Even though her time here was brief, she was always smiling and brought joy to everyone.
We would like to thank our friends and family for all their love and support. Also, a special thank you goes out to all of the staff at St. Luke's and University of Iowa hospitals.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Leasiah.
