Shelia June Merrifield, 70, passed away Jan. 27, 2022, at the Oldorf Hospice House surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Funeral service will immediately follow at
2 p.m. Inurnment at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemtery.
Shelia was survived by her husband of
51 years, Kevin; son, Michael; daughters, Denise and Kimberly; grandchildren, Maddison, Alicia and Lance; great-grandchildren, Rhaelyn, Mason and Jeremiah; sisters, Sheryl (Randy), Shelley and Stephanie (Ted); nieces, JoAnn and Diane; nephews, Chad and Justin; great-nieces, Candance, Jetta, Kortlyn and Aurora; and great-nephews, Peyton and Mason.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Barb; nephew, Curtis; brother-in-law, Raymond; and parents-in-law, Jack and Marie.
Shelia was born July 23, 1951, to Lloyd and Barbara Hunt in Trenton, Mo.
Shelia loved to reach, crocheting, puzzles and taking trips to nowhere. She loved her Husband, kids, family and pets, but her greatest joy was being a Mimi to her grandkids and great-grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha or the VA to support Veterans.
