Shawn Richard S. Pegande, 42, of Manchester, formerly of Dubuque, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, following a sudden illness while visiting in Siniloan, Laguna, Philippines. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dubuque, with the Rev. Dr. Kristian Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery, New Diggings, Wis. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, Ill., where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friends also may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Surviving are his wife, Norie; his three children, Shawn, Brett and Nathan; three stepchildren, Grace (Kiley) McGuine of Guttenberg, Jher and Lexus; two grandchildren, Brody and Sienna; his parents, Richard (Judy) Pergande and Sherry (Darrell) "Pudge" Kritz, both of Dubuque; two brothers, Ricky and Jason (Lisa) Pergande, both of Dubuque; stepbrothers and sister, Dennis Pegande, Ronnie Pergande and Joe (Tiffany) Pergande, all of Dubuque, and Mary Jo (Larry) Seidl of Manitowoc, Wis.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Rufina and Henry Saranillo of Marquette; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rose (Kevin) Dull of Marquette.
