Shaw, Don Howard
Don Howard Shaw, 80, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Manchester, died at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester, with the Rev. David Weber officiating. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory in Manchester and also one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Interment, with military rites: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Shaw of Cedar Rapids; four children, Donalyn (Larry) Pogue of Independence, Randy (Leanne) Shaw of Oviedo, Fla., Lori (Jim) Corey of Cedar Rapids and Doug (Pam) Shaw of Oviedo, Fla.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marcia (Bill) Russ and Beverly (Bob) Davis, both of Delhi.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Berniece Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous.
