Shaun M. Hesson, 42, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 31, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Shaun was born on Aug. 18, 1980, to Craig and Rose Hesson of Cedar Rapids. Shaun spent much of his life in Shellsburg and Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School in Vinton. Shaun was employed by Paul Revere’s Pizza in Cedar Rapids. Shaun loved spending time with his family and friends. He has a nephew, Shaun, whom he was very proud of. Shaun had so many special friends in his life. He loved reading and vacations.
Shaun is survived by his mother, Rose Hesson; sister, Tammy Hesson and nephew, Shaun Hesson; he had a special bond with his mom’s puppy Lexi; uncles and aunts, Gary (Kaye) Bonesteel, Kevin (Deb) Hesson, Diane Hesson, Karen (Steve) Helms and Dana (Tom) Lane; many special cousins; and special friends, Michelle and Emma.
He was preceded in death by father, Craig Hesson; grandparents, Keith and Maribelle Hesson and LeVern and Thelma Bonesteel; and cousin Nathan Hesson.
A Celebration of Life will be this summer.
A memorial fund has been established at Palo Savings Bank under Shaun Hesson.
