Shatzer, Karol Sue

Karol Sue Shatzer, 64, a resident of Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center, died there Saturday, April 17, 2010. There will be no services and no visitation per her wishes. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Karol was born March 29, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, to John and Erma V. Hubbard Shatzer.

 Her family included brothers and sisters, Sharon Hunt, Glenn (Red) Shatzer, Mary Jo Sharp and Paul Shatzer; niece, Jo Kearney, and several other nieces; one nephew; seven great-nieces; one great-nephew; her best friend, Tora Jackson; and a son, Michael (Lisa) Shatzer.

Karol was a very generous person and enjoyed helping others.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, TV game shows, nature, spending time with her friends and family, and dearly loved her pets. 

Karol's sarcastic wit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
