Sharon R. Wiese, 68, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, of an unexpected illness surrounded by her family.
Born on May 8, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was the daughter of John and Rose Lipcamon.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandkids. She loved all animals, especially her fur babies at home and her fur grandbabies.
She retired from Linn-Mar Schools after 40 years of service as a bus driver.
She is survived by her husband, John; her son, Clint (Sara) Wiese; and her daughter, Christine (Jason) Whitlock; five grandsons, whom she loved so much, Mitchell Wiese and Trace, Tyson, Tryton and Traxon Whitlock; and siblings, John David (Karen) Lipcamon, Nancy (Rick) Rosendahl, Barb Gusta and Marilyn (Steve) Schmitz.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Come join us for Sharon's celebration of life to be held on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids. Eulogy at 1 p.m. with fellowship following from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
